Started running on May 3rd 2017 after watching my girlfriend complete a marathon and being impressed by it. June of the same year I ran the Torbay half and December I ran the Bovington tank marathon. Since then I have run many a park run, a few 10ks, half marathons, marathons and an ultra. In October 2017 I got a bike and started riding sporadically. In 2019 I signed up for Ironman UK for the 2020 event and realised I needed to learn how to swim, learnt. 2020 the world came to a pause. 2021 still training for ironman UK, also have Manchester marathon for October too.

How do you pick yourself up when you need to?
Have a word with myself. I am in a privileged position to live were I live, train with the spare time I have and to not take myself too seriously. After all its just footsteps and pedal stroke.
