I started running spring 2005 to releive stress and decided to give myself an incentive, so I entered the GSR sept 05 and raised some money for charity, I did my first 10K for some practice in June 05. I have been nagged by inner shin/calf pain but I have hopefully got rid of it thanks to changing my footstriking position to forefoot from heavy heel (which I didnt realise I was doing). So hopefully that injury will not re-occur and I can do more running and less X training. I stopped running last couple of years but plan to get back into it now! 2012 do a 10k or 2 and if all goes well the GSR 1/2 in September.
