Alloa Half Marathon

Started well and stuck on 1.25 pace for over 10k with a couple of guys running for a similar time.

Stomach troubles started from then and had bad pains and really needed the toilet! Wind was bad on the tilicoutry road section and defo slowed pace! Had to back of to around 6.45-7m/m pace on some sections due to stomach issues but managed to pick it up a little on the last mile to finish strong as possible.

Happy with time and came 129th (top 9%) so pretty chuffed but defo could have squeezed in a minute quicker or maybe more if my stomach was ok!
