The Reading Half Marathon - after last week's Rhyl 10, I knew I was in shape to have a go at this. Slight sniffles, aches and work load meant I took a wise decision and played my Jantastic joker - no runs w/t/f/s snuck into the front pen and warmed up as best we could. set off determined to stick to 6.52 miling for 1.30 pace and basically SMASHED IT!!!! couple of rises and a doubting mile 8 put a couple of miles slower and the long drag along the dual carriageway is hard but kept on it to enjoy some showboating in the stadium knowing I had a minute in hand.
