Notes & Comments

portsmouth coastal marathon

paced really well, with even split to half half way point & back. Extremely wet following prolonged heavy rain. Tide was high too, meaning we had to wade through knee deep water to get around harbour side. Potential for sub 4hr if it wasnt for this. felt really strong at the end, and passing other runners from about 16-17 miles right through to the sprint finish. Endurance was good, although feet shot afterwards, probably due to the wet conditions and half the shingle beach filling my shoes.

great fun
