Notes & Comments

MK Half Marathon, felt good at the start. It definately didn't feel as warm as the day of Norwich half, it was overcast which helped. Just over a mile into the race and ping (brand new sports bra (shock absorber)birthday pressie) strap came undone. Whose bright idea was it to put hooks on the straps instead of secure ones. Anyway struggled to redo while a few guys did offer to help but said they couldn't stop. Managed to rehook and get going again. Things were back on track until mile 9 when left calf tightened up and I could feel shin pulling, so I tried to ease off a little, and I was still hoping to beat my PB. Unfortunately it wasn't too be just outside. If only I hadn't had the bra incident, oh well. Have been icing shin and calf, I will have to lay off it this week.
