Bath Half.
1:15 was the target, but it's felt like a big ask for the last couple of weeks.
Pleased to be running comfortably for the first 6 miles and happy enough to negotiate the tricky 7th and 9th miles without losing time. Guy caught me just after 4 miles and cruised into the distance after 10k (in about 35:10 for me). Excellent race by him.
For me, the final 2.5 miles were suddenly just too far. Absolutely crumbled and no effort could see me picking up the pace (or just maintaining - which was all I needed). Passed 10 miles in pretty much 57 exactly.
Was spotted afterwards with blood on my face from coughing as I ran and have to accept I've struggled the last couple of weeks. So to still be disappointed at coming close to breaking 1:15 is a very positive reflection on the last year.
No worries about cracking that target soon. Possibly 78th overall.

Awesome run :). It was quite windy on the run back to town which didn't help if you weren't in a group. Cold air seemed to affect me too, nearly coughed a lung up at the finish! Sub 75 at Tewkesbury? Quite a fast course but you'll probably have to run it han solo
