Ran the Guy Fawkes 10 mile race for the 4th year running. Same course same tough hills. A very cold one today, ran in 0oC temperatures and thick fog in places. Finished in a time of 1 hour 9 minutes and 23 seconds bettering last years time by 3 minutes so chuffed with that. 4th Quaker in. Found first half of the race pretty tough going with my routine been all cocked up this week I wasn't in the racing frame of mind and it being very cold it took a while to warm up. Easily the coldest run to date this year. Not to mention the severe sharp pains in my guts, wonder if not going for a number 2 done this, or the caffeine, who knows?
