Grunty Fen HM on a ridiculously hot day! Ran with HH and very grateful for company. Both doing really well until last part when we had to run/walk a bit. The heat seemed intense and was very energy-sapping (32 degrees when we got back to the car!). HH found a bit of energy from somewhere and went off at mile 11 or so. I struggled on and then Trotters appeared and escorted me back in with lots of encouraging noises, for which I was most grateful! Just thankful to have completed it but don't like having to stop and walk, but I didn't want to make myself ill like I did after Thorney 5! Grateful thanks to DR too for coming and supporting us despite not being able to run himself.
