Notes & Comments
Greater Manchester Marathon - my worst running experience ever. Blowing a gale & pouring down right from the word go. I will never ever set off in those conditions again without proper attire. So what if it's a race, I will wear a jacket!. First 10 miles looking good for sub 4 hours, but then we hit Dunham Massey. Everybody stopped to go round flaming puddles, lost soo much time there was no way back. Then we got even worse weather and running into it too. By mile 22 I was bordering on hypothermia not sure how I made it to the end but I did. Shivering while I ran - no fun at all. But looking on the bright side my next one has got to be better.
