London Marathon 2012. Just over 100 miles a month is not enough for me to run a really fast marathon but is enough to get round in a decent time. The plan was simple, i just wanted to knock out as many sub six minute miles as possible. This was something my small brain could compute quite well and give me a good time to boot :-)

Managed 14 out of the first 15 under 6 minute mile pace before things started to slide. The last 10 miles were hell, not sure how I kept going but I did. The bag of jelly babies and 3 gels got me home in 2-39-42 and 164th spot. New club record too :-) My legs now though are absolutely battered, it's going to take weeks to recover from this.

Garmin messed up on the uderground bits hence the error in distance.
