VLM - First Sub3 so absolutely delighted
The last 10K was the hardest I will ever run - did not think sub3 was in the bag until about 200m from the line as legs in agony and felt like they may cramp at any time.
The marathon is just so bloody hard. If I thought a quick half was a guarantee of a good marathon this provided a reality check!
However, kept the pace pretty consistent throughout and could not have given any more. If I want to get close to 2.45 I will have to do more miles and lose about another stone. I am not sure that I am prepared to do that!
