Lochaber marathon - Happy with run, felt I stayed strong to the end without too much drama. Was in a lead group of 10 until mile 9 when the wrong person went to the front and the pace was upped to 5.50s. Had to make the choice between the comfort of the group that could either break me or slow again, or back off and run solo with a safer pace. Went for the safety option and hope I made the right choice finished 6th overall and got the 1st V40 prize. Thanks to everyone who gave me support on route.
