Notes & Comments

The East Hull 20 was held in perfect conditions for running. I felt comfortable to half way, reaching 10 miles in about the same time as last year.

During the second half my lack of long runs in recent weeks took its toll as I slowed dramatically after 15 miles to 9 minutes per mile pace by the end.

I need to make a decision about the commitment I make to running because to improve in the longer races I need to do many more long runs. 42 seconds off the PB for 20 miles.
