Seriously disappointed, I know I could have done better. I so wanted a PB, but very chuffed Angie got a PB.

Ran the first few miles too fast, had a stitch for first 7 miles, energy gels had no effect, it was hot, I was thirsty. All in all it was horrible. It's a shame because it was a lovely day and a lovely route. My heart rate was very high which makes me wonder if Im coming down with a lurgy since both my children are ill.

A nasty hill at 2 miles and a longish hill at 4 miles. Hill at 9.5 miles finished me off.

On a positive note, I've run a half marathon less than a year after giving birth :-)

Must try harder.

Edit: woke up with a cough/cold the next day - I hope this was what hindered me.
