A very rainy MK Half. Started ok and got to a decent pace, although there was plenty of weaving through human traffic. Passed 4 miles at 30mins and half way at 50mins. Started to tire a little after 8-9 miles but the main issue was my right knee. I could feel a slight niggle from 7 miles but it wasn't a problem until around 10 miles (1:17), after which it started to hamper me. I had been looking at finishing around 1:42 which is around my PB time, but ended up having to hobble the last 2.5miles and lost nearly 5mins. Not a bad time overall, but annoying compared to what could have been. Also, the rain turned to snow as soon as I finished the race, so it took hours for my hands to defrost!
