St Neots HM. Well, my second best HM time, so no complaints. Felt pretty good today after the first few miles and it flew by. Pace was a bit up and down, and those sixes shouldn't really be in there, but a good last 5k.

10th place, 1st Vet in 77:28.

And well done to my traveling companion today, Chris, who did a big PB:-)

Amazing run John! 4th and 9th miles where a killer!! Good work.
DrBob
Brilliant run! The sixes are in there because they're uphill!
april_runner
The miles with the 6s in were the toughest! I did a *7* at one point.

Excellent run, one to be proud of!
brotherjohn
Thanks everyone:-) I am happy with the run, must be one of my best considering the course.
Covbaldy
B*stard! Cracking work John, and I thought I might be able to pull you back in the last 3! Gotta be pleased with that, I forgot about those hills still it was 2008 last time I ran it!
brotherjohn
Thanks Alan, the plan was to hammer the last 5k, but I was hoping to get to 10 a bit quicker! A very good run yourself, sub 6 minute mile pace for a HM is top class.
amys dad
nice one lohnyboy!
april_runner
Agree with that John! I'd like a 10k sub-6, or a 5k sub-6 for that matter..
brotherjohn
One day Maddy, you are not far off it at 5k:-)
robrea
Well done mate, that was a really strong finish!
arbster
Great run again John - your mile splits look pretty similar to mine... except they're all a minute faster!
