Very hot frostbite! Will prob never do in these temperatures again! Great run tho and yet again dragged round by Ron to equal my best ever position - 144 . Started too fast as always and really struggled mile 4 but so great to discover that didnt have to go up that dog-leg hill again that managed to speed up a bit for last mile ( time for last mile looks silly as was unable to stop watch at end of race!) Got overtaken in last straight by super sprinting Phil who had been taking it very easy for the whole race but managed to sprint past one other runner myself and really pleased with the run.Tho hot lots of wooded areas so could have been worse and certainly the dry floor in the woods much easier to negotiate than the mud! Great cake from John after and a good turn out by Werrington joggers with lots of supprt on route too
