NEWTON AYCLIFFE 10k - Turned up at this race today marking 2 years of racing for me. This was my first ever race 2 years ago. 75 races later I ran todays but slightly dissapointed on the whole. Still on the road to recovery. I set off hoping to hold the 6:30 minute mile pace but I tired very quickly. Plus the course was not a "fast and flat" one. On the plus I was 5th Quaker in and a few other Quakers times were a bit off to usual. A good t-shirt.
The course was tougher than expected. Weather not bad just a bit clammy!
