planned an easy training run at 8:30-9mm pace as my legs have far too many miles in them to race a 20 at the moment. So how come I went through 5 miles in 40 minutes and half way in 1:21?? Actually I know why, that was the pace that felt comfortable, but even so I should know better than that by now! From 13 a combination of tired legs, a complaining ITB and a head that knew this one wasn't worth hurting too much for meant that I ran/walked the last 7 miles. Sorry to all those people around me who I probably annoyed by repeatedly falling behind during walk breaks and then passing as I dropped back into 8mms. So finishing in 2:51:03 with an average p
