Edinburgh Marathon. My 3rd fastest time ever and my first marathon as a mum (baby is 7 months old). Disappointed not to have achieved my goal of sub3. Was on target til 16 miles but pace had been steadily dropping and I was too tired and struggling for breath. Stopped to walk a few times in the final 10 miles which I just jogged. Very very windy coming back.

Fantastic run Claire, well done to you !
Great run Claire. Brave stuff.
It's still really early days. All the hard work you have put in will pay off - by the time Dexster is 1 you'll have run new PBs - I guarantee it. Your body has been through tremendous changes in the last 18 months or so and it will bounce back to peak performance and more. Don't be hard on yourself about the sub-3. It will come x
Sorry about the typo - Dexter!
Well done today Claire - they were really hard conditions x
