Notes & Comments

Shakespeare Half. I'm still well below PB fitness, so set a soft target of sub 1:50.

First mile slow in the town due to traffic, next five miles the field spread out and I was enjoying my shoes. 6 & 7 felt strong uphill, particularly the longish one. Started to feel last weeks sales conference catching me up at mile 10 and wasn't suprised when the wheels came off at the end of mile 11. Was ready for the finish.

What stunning countryside though, a pleasure to be alive run.

Best moment of the day watching Mrs Keets come home in a fantastic 1:52 for her 1st HM and listening to her describe the emotions and being as verbose as I am at the end of a good run. :)
