So pleased with this run :-) No idea how was going to go but as always was going to go for it and ended up with PB of 5 seconds -not massive but a PB all the same which was chuffed with.Chaotic start as always and first mile too fast prob cos panicked at getting so boxed in round the estate. Then settled down a bit but met the headwind which was hard work - ran some of this with the pack of Dave,Lloyd and Phil which helped a bit.was relieved to turn out of wind but then the heat hit! Faded badly in mile 5 and just kept telling myself that at least I felt better than 3 weeks ago along the embankment which kept me going! Twiglet came alongside with about half a mile to go and we egged each other on which helped considerably.Brilliant turnout from WJs and some great PBs and special well done to Mick and Eli for collecting both second places! Fantastic support all round-and great cake from trotters,Izzy and gem.Love this race and always so well-organised

Congratulations on a pb. Interesting our splits are so close, it was very hard into the wind, good to get behind someone.

great run as ever, 5 secs or 5 mins still PB.....think 5 miler must have been bit long as alot of us had slower times, great turn out though as ever by WJS

HJ - to complete a trio of 2nds, you were second WJ lady and therefore runner up in the Ron Dodson Cup so another trophy coming your way!! SGJ - 5th mile is/was accurate, its just you are on the track and that slows you down!!
