My first ever road marathon but a massive 1hr 27 mins PB over my offroad time. I hadn't done any marathon specific training and my longest run was 17.5 miles some weeks ago. Aimed to start at 8.30 min/mile and expected to hit the wall but never did. I felt unbelievable strong and could have kept running at the end too!!! A brilliantly organised race and I'd definitely do it again. They even had beer at the finish line!!! Final position 108 out of 350.
