Did well for the first 16 miles, under target time for all the mile splits, then hit the Newton Hills. Awful. Even though I struggled up them I was in a lot better shape than some of the others. Heartbreak Hill lives up to its name. By the time I got to the top I had very little left in the tank and the rest of it was just survival. Very, very tough.
