Race went a bit wrong! To name a few excuses: side pain (like a stitch), ongoing glute pain; stress of driving to Germany after race; and I've thought of another one: racing in my Supernova Glides...
As the splits show, it was pretty much game over by mile 7, which is not normal really. Had a good few days rest this week/mini taper, but still I felt like I was running on empty.
Live and learn. Although what I've learnt I'm not yet sure.
