Notes & Comments

This run taught me a lot of lessons!

1 I am not ready to run a half at 8 minute/miles or in under 1:45. I thought I was.

2 I will not be able to beat that time if I don't go back to being more strict with my diet.

3 A four lap race takes much perseverance.

4 It is very rude to make a "funny" quip as you lap somebody.

5 Make sure Garmin is good to go at the start. I missed the first kilometre - so the data or this race is incomplete.

6 I can beat 1:50 without preparing any more seriously.

I have a decision to make - do I want to push on to more challenging goals or I am happy to manage what I couldn't have ever thought possible before I took up running?
