This is the most fucking demanding race on the planet, surely?! Hilly does not even come close; the alps aren't as hilly as this race! Plugged on, but a blister came in the arch of my left foot at about 4m, so I stopped and adjusted socks and stuff, but to no avail. My foot now has a blister bigger than a 50p :o(. My last few miles were much better; I seemed to have found some fire.
