Shakespeare marathon.....quite hot & although I went quite quickly up to mile 7, at that point I knew I'd better back off or I'd be in trouble. Slowed alot then, and had a nice race chatting to others and generally joking around. The last few miles seemed to last for ages, as always, but not a bad course. Long gravel strip for about 5 miles was appauling, but decent scenery most of the way. Just watched the London highlights....and they had rain, lucky things!
