Alloa Half marathon. Thank goodness I entered. I wasn't going to bother what with my foot and knowing it wasn't the best weekend for me to be running. Anyhoo, decided to give it a go, could always slow down later if I had too. Wasn't sure for the first 5 miles, foot and stomach were sore, but get on with it E! At 7 miles I realised I was actually feeling quite comfortable and could do this :-) Woohoo. Loving it! Slowed a bit on the hills towards the end, but passed loads of people. Didn't really find an extra gear for the last mile, but who cares a stonking pb (by almost 5 minutes :-)), and I can't wait to run on a high iron day. Being a normal person is ace. Well done to everyone else today, you all did amazing, FVH is some club :-) Oh foot is a bit sore, hobbled back to that car, but what the hell it was worth it (please let my foot be okay soon!).
