Swampfest. I don't know if I've ever seen that much mud before. Well the conditions coupled with a total wipe-out prat fall in the mud and cut hand at 4 miles kind of did for me. I was, oddly, though quite pleased with the effort. Managed to re-take most of the people that had overtaken me earlier in the race which is an indication of reasonable pacing. Started off OK at 7.13/7.15 for the first 2 but after we hit the mud is was game over.
