Brilliant race, definitely do it again. Raining and cold and a bit breezy on the way back, but I felt strong all the way round, so very happy. First 10 miler so wasn't sure how to pace and was intending to go at 1.40 half mara pace (7.38), but I felt really good so was able to run very consistently.
Saw my avg pace had dropped from 7.27 to 7.28 around 6.5 miles (so current lap slipped to around 7.35 I think, couldn't see that screen as had bezel locked as rain kept switching the screens) and for a second I thought I'd just settle, but for first time in a long time I made a conscious effort to fight back and got pace back and finished strongly.
Could have probably gone faster, but didn't want to blow up early on.
Oh, and went through 1500 miles for the year at some point towards the end of the race
