BEFORE
Night before had morrocan dish, tangini(?) and lots of beer.
2.5 hrs before start Breakfast , Oats & sugar. Normal story forced it down.
1.5 hrs before start Drank 500ml gatorade.
5 min before start, gel with cafine.
RACE
During race felt okay but was pushing hard from the start, wanted to settle down before pushing again at mile 9 onwards but just kept finding hills and things that slowed me or made me work harder. I didn't notice at the time that mile 9 was so slow and right to the end I assumed I was pushing hard enough for a PB
