Dublin Marathon. Was worried about my calf but that did not bother me probably due to the long socks I was wearing. I was happy with the time given current level of fitness. I need to lose a bit of weight and have a consistent period of training to get back to where I was in 2008 and even push closer to 2.30.
In this race I took a while to settled down and lacked the speed to feel i could go any faster. The mile splits were not accurate which is a shame for such a big race but the 5k markers seemed accurate and i was pretty consistent only really seemed to suffer in the last 2 miles.
