Twisted awkwardly last night causing a re-occurrence of my groin injury. Tried to pop it back into place again but was unsuccessful (need to work on my technique!!!). Not known for my common sense, decided to run the race anyway and with every step felt a shooting pain radiate through my groin into my stomach muscles. Had a hot bath and it seems to have settled down and I think it has now popped back into place although I now have a bad case of cramp in my hip. With no Louis, Adam and Scott were the first 2 counters but still picked up 6 points which is enough to clinch the CC, although I did hear that J5A was trying to get a last minute entry this week but failed which could have made things interesting. Will see how much training I am able to do this week before making a final decision on the marathon.

Worth it? not really, it would be different if it was actually properly contested. Off to work on my technique.

Well done. 50 quid is 50 quid. Just think of all the jazz mags you can buy to practise self massage.

Billy Reid was first overall so takes the £50.
