Great Warford 10 Mile Road Race - an absolute joke of a start, the gun went off and the whole pack crossed the line while I was still on the phone trying to talk to her. I set off in pursuit of the whole field and in the first mile it was very difficult passing all the slow coaches on narrow country lanes. I felt good passing people all the way through the race, not one person came past me at all. Because I had no-one of similar pace to me to latch onto I never really got up to the correct pace throughout and I went through 8 miles in 52:00. Knowing it would have taken 2 x 6min miles to break my pb I eased off a lot and came home in 65:43
