Notes & Comments

Northumberland Coastal Run. First time I've done this race. Was a bit worried beforehand because I've not run 14 miles for some time. Set off nice and steady, and just kept on going. Managed to pick it up a bit after halfway, and actually ran a negative split, which was good given the headwinds on the last beach part. I'll go with the concensus that this might have been a bit short, but felt long because of the winds. I'll go with the chip time, although I clocked it a whole 4 secs faster. Enjoyable run, and glad to say I was pleased with my efforts. May very well try again next year, as it really is corking scenery up there.
