Notes & Comments
Belper Rugby Rover 30k, as a LSR, walking the steeper updulates. Lots of undulation and lots of interesting underfoot conditions - I'm delighted to have felt completely sure-footed in my Really Old Percepts with no tread and no cushioning. A splendid well-organised LDWA event with such good route-marking and marshalling that even I couldn't have got lost. Legs stiffened up around 14 miles, but by the end they were fine again. If I've got DOMS tomorrow it'll be because the showers were bloody freezing. Just finished in time to miss the rain :o)
