Notes & Comments
Warmed up on line 8 up and down 5a, up and down 6a and the 6b+; then we moved to line 10, up and down 6a and then the interesting 6b - all top-roped
Then I led 6b on line 16 - pleased with that - I don't often lead this grade, and had a go at the 6c+ on the same line on the rope I'd just put up. Failed - but it was worth trying. After a break I lead 6a+ on line 18 and top-roped the 6c. Fell off the last move so tried again on the last 3 moves and nailed it, but the effort precipitated a bit of AF -
Made the mistake of having coffee on the break it would seem.
We moved to the 18m wall and I led the 6a online 41 which felt much harder than it should have, and I had a slight dizzy spell part way up. Finished trying the 6b+ on the same like which I have climbed before, but it wasn't happening, so we cut the session a bit short.
Lesson learned - coffee and hard climbing precipitated paroxysmal AF - so avoid the coffee - which I have been but forgot today!
