I intended 3.5 to 4 miles and it was going very well until a problem arose.

3) 0.6m - 5:40(9:25/m) 158/161bpm [1488b/mi] 60cal At 2.5 miles, the R Achilles tendon suddenly started to hurt so I stopped and walked home.

Oh flipping heck
I have had recurrent bilateral Achilles tendonitis for several decades. Sometimes it comes on gradually, others suddenly like this time. Often massage and heel drops improve it over a few days.
