Ingraham long run where I felt remarkably good and was kind of hammering considering this run had 1700 ft of e-gain in 13.5 miles. Wasn't exactly sure what I needed to hit 65 this week, thought 13.5 would do it and didn't really want to do more on 7 but ended at 64.9 on the week but whatever gps is whack so doesn't matter anyway. Felt weirdly good from the start on this, team is much less grinder long run than last year, a bunch of men didn't get dropped off, and besides grahm and jld who took off I was in front group going up all the hill. Then got to downhill and chuckie kinda took off and then I followed and caught him and we ran together for a bit, others were close behind tho. On the big hill I got dropped by chuckie and elias and john who came up with us, but then they hung back a little on the downhill again so once again chuckie and I were out front. Wild to be grinding like that, but the thing is my legs felt fucking good? So it wasn't much of a grind, it was weird. Not sure why I felt so good, I guess 6 (generously) hours of sleep and a bit of a hangover is a good recipe for feeling good. But yah, it was nice, I like feeling good and running moderately hard at times. Should be up to 70 again next week which will feel like a bit more mileage. Oh also calves are a little sore, probably race + the e-gain of this run wrecked them so gotta loosen them up.
