Nice cycling conditions (dry, lightest of breezes, overcast so no problems with visibility) and I wanted to give my legs an easy day in preparation for parkrun tomorrow. Road conditions best described as "subtly muddy".
My Edge 820 had lost all its charge sitting on the table, which gave me the impetus to teach my Forerunner 735xt to talk to the gadgets on my road bike and to my chest HRM. Also discovered that I can strap it to the handlebars. Lost a bit of time and distance (no more than a quarter of a mile over half a dozen pauses) in the last eight miles to an autopause bug.
Col de Moota was even nicer than I remember, and the part of the A595 I rode is better in that direction, which is mostly downhill.
