Not sure how I feel about this one. Ick ahead. Target of 3 hours, a hair inside 4 hour marathon pace, was on until 18.something when I thought I was going to throw up. Think I nearly shafted myself by not taking a hay fever tab, throat full of frothy post nasal drip (can't say I didn't warn you!) Same again at 19.y, thought I was going to have to walk it in, got going and it was fine. 83 seconds off target, almost all in those last two miles. Could I have gone on to marathon at that pace? Legs could have gone on. Throat, who knows. I'll have to take a closer look at the last few 100m pace.

So far as I can make out, that is PBs for 20 miles by a couple of minutes, 30k by about four minutes, and going by the benchmarks page it’s actually PBs at everything from 14 to 20 miles (though those are based on average pace and it’s possible I’ve gone a little faster in a past marathon before my traditional 💥 at 20 miles.
