Great North Run - its not the nicest of courses but i still keep doing it, got to start right at the front this year and warm up a bit with rununman. the good start paid off as at the 10k mark i had a new pb of 35:10 and ended up beating the time i set myself by over 2 minutes and finishing in 70th position.
