Up far too early to have breakfast after an early night last night. Cut back the regrowth from the streptocarpus stump and the witch hazel in the back border in the hope of encouraging bushiness (decided to leave the magnolia regrowth alone but pleased to see it). Emptied the rotting wooden planter and retrieved the daffodil bulbs for reburying elsewhere. Some weeding with the hand fork and moved some of the smaller stones from the raised bed at the front.

Did you catch many worms?
Too late for the worms, but there were woodlice everyfuckingwhere and I accidentally composted a load of pretty wee caterpillars from the witch hazel.
Industrious start to the day
