10st 0 1/4 day before. The idea of this race was to get Kathryn running up to speed in preparation for London Marathon. She's not really been anywhere close to her speed before hip operation. Problem is that I've had calf problem for last 3-4 weeks so wasn't sure I would be able to do it all. Wierd start where we thought we were walking towards starting pens and suddenly found ourselves under Start gantry, still with throwaways on and I hadn't done any stretching at all. Thought I'd be okay for first 5 -6 miles having run 5 milkes on Wednesday but it started to tighten after about 4 miles. I'd already taken a map of the course with tube stations marked for in case I had to drop out and make myway to the finish. But With a lot of prayer, it didn't get any worse and Kathryn was able to get round in a decent time and I finished as well, so Job Done.
