Interesting.
Original plan was to leap out of bed like a gazelle at 5:45, feed the cat, snaffle a banana or gel, then head out and run.
What actually happened: slept really, really badly, woke up at 5:45 with cramp in my left calf, screamed a bit, stayed in bed until 6, limped about, had a proper breakfast and a cup of tea, then headed out for the run not expecting much given I felt knackered and a bit sore.
Just ran super relaxed with no expectations. Took a little while to ease into it but really fell into a groove. Nice and flow-y.

Glad it did the trick - I like the concept of double runs but in this heat all the showering puts me off!!
