Horribly icy. The worst conditions with the melted leftover dregs of snow from a week ago then -5C overnight and barely thawing days making all that melt into sheet ice. Anyhoo, picked my way gingerly through trails. Even off road was icy. Then pavements hit and miss. Roads best. So might have to plan runs that get me onto roads as quickly as poss. Which is a pain because it's what I like least. Back was fine though. Wish it would either thaw or snow properly. Think a thaw isn't until next week though. Hey ho!
