20 min warmup. 8x(60s on, 90s off). 23 min cooldown. Solo workout bc the boys not only did the hill sprint/4min hill workout which I didn't rly want to do but they also did it at 8:30 this morning. Doing the workout in the morning may have been a good idea tho bc it was like 84 and sunny on this, so def not ideal but I managed, though definitely was a bit dehydrated by the cooldown. Anyway, legs felt good on the warmup, and then were kind of up&down on the workout. Felt like first couple were still warming up a bit, but then 3&4 felt quite easy, then 5&6 went back to feeling pretty meh, and then I didn't mean to but ended up cruising on the 5th one and so pushed it again on the last one. Definitely was pretty knackered by the end, but did average just under 5:09 pace which given that this workout was supposed to be around 3k-5k pace I'm pretty happy with. Onwards and upwards!
