St Ives to Hayle along the least sexy bit of the Arc50 route. Lots of road and hard track/hard sand on this section so wore my road shoes. Lumpiest bit (Carbis Bay to Lelant) is also super narrow and I got stuck behind lots of walkers and had to walk along behind them until a) they noticed me and b) there was actually a place to pass that didn't involve potentially plummeting off a cliff. Took a wrong turn off the road bit into Hayle and ended up in Asda's car park
Probably a good job I had to take it slower than planned as the SUP has resulted in a muscle/rib issue but no matter, it eased as I ran. Super pleased with how good my legs feel which is a good job as I have lots of plans for them this week. Time for a burger and a glass of Malbec.
